Understanding your score

When you get your IELTS test results you will be given an overall test score of between 0–9 on the IELTS scale. You will also get a score for each of the four sections of the test – Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking. The IELTS scale helps organisations understand your level of English.

Retake One Skill

If you did not show your potential in one of the four skills (Listening, Reading, Writing, or Speaking) on test day, IELTS One Skill Retake can help you get back on track by letting you retake just one skill.

IELTS One Skill Retake will be rolled out worldwide during 2023. Find out if your local test centre offers this today.
