Songtian College of Guangzhou University was founded in September 2000 by Guangzhou University and Zengcheng Songtian Industrial Co., Ltd. It was the first undergraduate independent school founded in Guangdong Province. Approved by the Ministry of Education in April 2004, the school achieved a leap from junior college to undergraduate education.
