Guangxi University of Foreign Languages (GUFL) is located in Nanning, the capital of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Regionthe, the permanent site of the China-ASEAN Exposition and the key city of the Guangxi Beibu Gulf Economic Zone. The University, formerly named Guangxi Dongfang Foreign Language College, was founded in June 2004 and upgraded in April 2011 to offer bachelor's programs.
