Huanggang Teachers College is located in the head of Chu Wuwei, Tongjiang Dahai, a culturally important town with the provincial capital Wuhan, and a national livable city-Huanggang City, Hubei Province. It is a Hubei Province with a complete set of disciplines and majors. A general full-time undergraduate university with a scientific nature, it is the first institution of higher learning in Huanggang City with a population of 7.5 million.
Schools predecessor was founded in 1905 in "Huangzhou Normal School", after "Provincial Huanggang rural normal school", "Hubei Provincial Huanggang Normal," "Huanggang Teachers College" and other changes; 1999 Nian 3 months, Ministry of Education approved, upgraded to the undergraduate level, "Huanggang Normal University"; 2011 Nian 10 months, the Academic degrees Committee of the State Council approved to carry out an independent school education professional degree graduate education.
