SDTBU (originally named China Coal Economic College) was established in December 1985 with the approval of the former Ministry of Education. It was the only finance & economics university of the former Ministry of Coal Industry. SDTBU is built by Central government and Shandong Province together and mainly managed by Shandong Province.
