The IELTS solution during the Covid-19 pandemic
During the Covid-19 pandemic we developed and introduced the IELTS Indicator test for test takers to demonstrate their English proficiency when test centres were closed.
Once test centres re-opened, we stopped offering IELTS Indicator and the IELTS Score Check service for organisations.
IELTS Indicator scores
While our recommendation is that IELTS Indicator scores are a valid indicator of English proficiency for two years from test date, organisations may still wish to use these scores from test takers.
