The team behind IELTS is reminding universities to take advantage of its free IELTS Results Service. The online resource provides admissions staff at universities with a really easy way to check applicants’ IELTS test scores. IELTS says it gives universities the confidence that their applicants have the skills they need for success.

We know how important it is for universities to have confidence in their students’ English language ability, and our free IELTS Results Service is a key tool for admissions staff.

How the service works

Universities that accept IELTS are able to look up a result using the unique Test Report Form number. They can then download test takers’ results and check details, scores by section, and the photo taken on test day. The service was relaunched in 2023 with a host of new features. This includes the ability for universities to download results in bulk to save time and import results into their own system – a feature which Pamela Baxter says can really speed up the recruitment process.

The IELTS Results Service is a really easy way for admissions staff to check scores and provides that extra layer of reassurance that students have the skills they need for success. It’s also a fantastic tool for admissions teams as it can help to speed up the whole student recruitment process.
