IELTS recently identified an issue which led to a small proportion of test takers receiving incorrect results between August 2023 and September 2025.
We have emailed all affected test takers, provided updated results and offered information on further support including refunds and resits.
The vast majority of IELTS tests, over 99 percent, were unaffected.
If you have previously taken an IELTS test and you have not received an email from us about this issue, then you have not been affected.
